MPF Eye on Shorts – Age of the Farmer from Spencer MacDonald

Age of the Farmer is a short film from Spencer MacDonald on the new generation of farmers coming up in British Columbia. It includes lovely camera work and editing, and an interesting look at the young people that are discovering a connection to the earth. At least in that area, most of the farmers are 65 or older, so hopefully this will be a movement that gains momentum.  The background scenery is stunning. Enjoy.

This is basically a music video, but the editing is very interesting. It’s a nice relaxing 3 1/2 minutes. Enjoy !

Noble Pursuits

Though we seldom hear about the people and companies that are going to great lengths to make this a better world, they are out there. By chance I ran across this video, and learned about the work being done by a company called Enabling The Future. They are a group of over 3600 members from all over the World that design and make 3D Printed hand devices for those in need. Material costs are around $ 50.00 and all the labor is donated. They also give the plans away so you can print your own device. For more information or to get involved, check out their website or Facebook page.

When we all work together, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

Best to all.
